THE EAGLE'S FEATHER / BEYOND PROPHECY
Ancient world prophecy turns into a dangerous modern adventure
OVERVIEW
Ancient crimes echo into the modern world. When a sacred law was broken centuries ago, the world began to tilt toward catastrophe. Dr. Faith Roper, a Hopi physician, must confront ancestral forces, awakened artifacts, and, with the help of a Magi Master race, restore Mother Earth’s balance before the countdown reaches zero. A mythic, end-of-world thriller where the past refuses to stay buried.
When a Spanish soldier kills a sacred eagle in the 1500s, a Hopi chief seals one feather inside a quartz crystal in the Cave of Eales to restore balance, but the feather is stolen by a Spanish priest, lost in the Yucatan, and its absence fractures a natural law: Disturb nature, disturb the world.
Centuries later, as global disasters intensify, Faith Roper is thrust into an end-time reality and a countdown to zero. With the help of a Magi mystic and others, and driven by her consciousness, her acute sense of the natural world, and her prophetic gifts, she undertakes the impossible: to battle the forces of darkness and save Mother Earth.
This mythic adventure-thriller spans the globe from the Four Corners of America to Stonehenge, to England’s ghost Castles, to the Valley of the Kings in search of the lost feather, the Emerald Tablet’s missing emerald that will reveal the end-time date, and the meaning of an image carved into the Hopi Prophecy Rock. Time is vanishing not down to days, but down to minutes as a lone assassin closes in.
“What exactly is this?” Faith asked the young woman standing beside her at the British Museum.
“Something quite enigmatic. A tablet from perhaps ancient Egypt. Its origin is mysterious. My name is Elena Kosnova, and I am an Oxford student in ancient languages. Resident of England. World traveler. Love this mysterious stuff.”
“Nice to meet you, Dr. Faith Roper, from America. Yes, it does look mysterious.”
They shook hands. Briefly, Elena could feel Faith’s inner strength.
“The … The Hopi exhibit—”
“My father’s.”
“Fascinating objects. Unfamiliar to most of us in Europe. A very special message in those objects.”
“A message linked to world mythologies. If you learn one thing about ancient civilizations, it’s that they’re all linked through time and events. No civilization can act in a vacuum. Each one feeds into another, and oracles and prophecies seem to be expressed in similar ways in each age.”
“Well, speaking of oracles, this Tablet is history’s alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. This Tablet is the sum of all oracular prophecies. Twelve, to be exact, accumulated from a variety of seers, oracles, and priestesses throughout time, who have not only answered questions from supplicants and given both private and public advice but also foretold the future of this world. The Twelve Oracle, the Tablet’s final oracle-prophecy, is of the most concern because it may indicate the end of the world.”
“I see no writing.”
“That’s because the emerald is missing from that spot,” Elena said, pointing at the green Tablet and a hole about one inch in diameter.
“You mean—”
“Yes. If the emerald is placed in that spot, specific oracles can appear. At least that’s the mythology,” Elena said, walking close to the Tablet.
Faith gently touched the Tablet.
Writing shimmered into view – for two seconds!
“Did you see that?” Elena asked, stunned, her eyes opening wide.
“Barely.”
“That’s incredible! Touch the Tablet again.”
Faith reached out, but before she could touch the Emerald Tablet, it shimmered again.
Then she collapsed on the floor.
